Between 15 - 24 October 2021, the Queensland Museum, Sunshine Coast Council and Third Nature Projects are partnering to research and celebrate invertebrate biodiversity within the Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve.
In collaboration with entomologists and arachnologists, a creative researcher will apply their creative lens and practice to the invertebrate project.
The creative researcher EOI has now closed and the selected artist will be announced in August. Their research will be displayed at the Rainforest Discovery Centre and developed works showcased in an exclusive exhibition in 2022.
The project is funded by the Sunshine Coast Council Environment Levy.
