Artist Lesley Kendall was engaged as artist in residence during the Tiny Giants: Mary's Amazing Invertebrates in October 2021. She applied her creative lens and practice to the field of entomology and arachnology - spending time to engage with multiple researchers, their methodologies, specimens and the rainforest survey sites.
Between 5 - 18 April 2022, Lesley will return to Mary Cairncross to exhibit a collection of resolved works that tell the story of Mary's Amazing Invertebrates through paper sculpture, water colour and ink.
