Medicinal Plants invites visitors to explore cultural knowledge of traditional healing and bush medicines through stories, artworks, and interactive displays.
The exhibition honours the wisdom of Jinibara artists and knowledge holders regarding the traditional practices of medicinal plants. Visitors will discover how to apply natural remedies through plant identification, extraction and application procedures.
This immersive experience offers a rare opportunity to learn about the resilience and richness of Jinibara healing traditions, and how they continue today. Medicinal Plants is a celebration of connection – to Country, to community, and to the enduring spirit of First Nations people and knowledges.
