Sense of Place III is a compelling group exhibition curated by Arts Connect Inc.
It explores perspectives of place, traversing the intimate habitats and expansive landscapes of Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve. Through diverse mediums such as acrylic, oil and watercolour paint, ink, fabric, paper wood, bronze and ceramic, the artists respond to cycles of life, decay, and renewal, highlighting the complex and fragile rainforest ecosystem. From endangered flora and fauna to the iconic Glass House Mountains, each work invites reflection on our relationship with the environment, offering a powerful, aesthetic journey into the interconnected layers of the Sunshine Coast’s natural and cultural identity.
