Choirs sing up a storm at Sunshine Coast Choral Festival
Sunshine Coast residents will be absolutely delighted to attend this year’s Sunshine Coast Choral Festival at Venue 114 on Saturday, 15th June. A record number of 13 choirs and more than 230 singers from all corners of the coast are set to perform on the day.
Sunshine Coast residents will be absolutely delighted to attend this year’s Sunshine Coast Choral Festival at Venue 114 on Saturday, 15th June. A record number of 13 choirs and more than 230 singers from all corners of the coast are set to perform on the day.
The annual festival is a celebration of singing and great entertainment. It covers many different genres of music from classical to world music and everything in between.
A highlight of the Sunshine Coast Choral Festival is the massed choir featuring classical choral pieces such as the Hallelujah Chorus and some moving songs from around the world.
If choral music stirs your soul or you’ve been thinking of joining a choir on the Sunshine Coast, come along and be inspired by Cool Harmonies, Caloundra Chorale, Global Harmonies, Hot Ginger Chorus, InsingC, Inspiration Choir and Caloundra Community Choir, Joy of Singing and Mouth Orchestra, New World Rhythm, Sunshine Statesmen Barbershop Chorus, Sweet Chilli, and Tapestry.
These groups sing a wide variety of music including classical choral music, jazz, gospel and world music. The singers come from a large area of the Sunshine Coast including Pomona, Coolum Beach, Maleny, Caloundra, Maroochydore and Bli Bli.

Tickets: $15 available at the door. Includes light refreshments.
