We have just launched another fantastic exhibition, Carbon_Dating!

It was a very special night shared with the Carbon_Dating curators and artists. Gallery Director, Jo Duke, emceed the evening, and Uncle Brian Warner performed a beautiful Welcome to Country. Curators Beth Jackson and Jo-Anne Driessens (Guwa-Koa, Kuku Yalanji) shared heartfelt words about the exhibition. And we were lucky to have Deputy Mayor Maria Suarez, Cr Terry Landsberg and Cr Tim Burns in attendance.

Guitarist and composer, Andre Reginato, filled the space with music. And, as usual, Moffat Beach Brewing Co. hosted the bar. Guests wet their whistle on cold brews, and enjoyed finger food by Thistle in the Woods. At the gallery, we love to support our local businesses and creatives.

If you haven't yet had a chance to see the exhibition, Carbon_Dating continues until 8 December. And we have some more special events coming up - the Carbon_Dating panel talk on 16 November and the Caloundra Christmas Street Party on 29 November. We're fitting in as much as we can before the end of the year!
