Come on a rainforest walk with a purpose!
Bird enthusiast Rob Kernot facilitates the early morning seasonal bird surveys. This repeated citizen science event is an opportunity contribute to an understanding of what birds frequent the reserve at different times of the year.
2024 Dates
Autumn: Friday 15 March (7am). Register for the Autumn Bird Survey here.
Winter: Friday 21 June (7.30am)
Spring: Monday 23 September (7.30am)
Summer: Monday 16 December (7am)
Time: Approximate duration 90minutes.
The survey takes place on two sections of track. It is great if you are familiar with local birds and their calls but not a requirement. Anyone with an interest in birds is welcome to join. Binoculars are useful.
Numbers are limited, registration required.
