Throughout 2024, citizen scientists have conducted seasonal surveys of the red-legged pademelons in Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve.
We look forward to continuing this important participatory research in 2025. Stay tuned for future dates.
The survey takes place over approximately 1 - 2 hours with observations being made from the track. Anyone with an interest in observing native wildlife is welcome to join. Binoculars are useful. To minimise disturbance, participants need to be quiet while conducting the survey.
