Jinibara stories

Jinibara people have many traditional stories. They were used to share important cultural lessons. 

Listen to Rhio tell the traditional Jinibara story of how the carpet python and got its distinctive markings and the story of the freshwater crayfish. The stories were shared by Jinibara songman Gaiarbau (Grandfather Willie Mackenzie).
